WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Rep. Filemon Vela, D-Texas, issued the following statement after the reports indicated that a Russian spy operation targeted coalition troops in Afghanistan, including bounties on American soldiers:
"This weekend's revelations that Russia has been paying bounties to Taliban-linked militants for the killing of U.S. servicemembers are despicable.
"As more details come to light, the Trump Administration must be transparent about the findin . . .
