WASHINGTON, June 30 -- Rep. Sylvia Garcia, D-Texas, issued the following statement on June 29 commending the Supreme Court's decision in June Medical Services LLC vs. Russo:
"Today's Supreme Court decision is a major win for women across our great country. I applaud the five Supreme Court justices who today rightfully struck down a Louisiana law that would have required doctors at clinics that perform abortions to have admitting privileges at a nearby hospital.
