Statement by Rep. Kildee on Decision to Abandon Nuclear Waste Storage on Lake Huron

WASHINGTON, June 25 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Michigan, issued the following statement on June 24 after Ontario Power Generation announced that it will give up its plans to build a permanent nuclear waste storage site less than a mile from Lake Huron:
