Senator Mazie K. Hirono (D-Hawaii), along with delegation colleagues Senator Brian Schatz (D-Hawaii), Representative Ed Case (D-Hawaii), and Representative Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii), urged U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Secretary Sonny Perdue to utilize USDA Animal Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS) emergency funding if necessary to quickly detect and eradicate the Asian giant hornet . . .
