N.H. U.S. Attorney: Prisoner Sentenced to 15 Months for Mailing Threatening Letters to New Hampshire Residents From Prison

CONCORD, New Hampshire, June 24 -- The U.S. Attorney for the District of New Hampshire, Scott W. Murray, issued the following news release on June 23:

Matthew Oliver, 38, formerly of Everett, Massachusetts, was sentenced to 15 months in federal prison for mailing threatening communications, announced United States Attorney Scott W. Murray.

According to court documents and statements made during a jury trial, Oliver mailed the threatening communications while incarcerate . . .
