WASHINGTON, June 24 -- Sen. Ben Sasse, R-Nebraska, issued the following statement after the State Department announced that it will designate four Chinese state-run media organizations as propaganda arms of the Chinese government:
"This is what the Chinese government does: they prop up 'news' organizations that push party propaganda and disinformation on their own people and abroad. We know America's belief in a free press doesn't get to exist in China, and Chairman Xi will kee . . .
