WASHINGTON, June 23 -- Rep. Colin Allred, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Colin Allred (TX-32) last week voted to pass out of the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee the INVEST in America Act, H.R. 2. The days-long Committee hearing included legislation Allred introduced with Senator John Cornyn and will make much-needed investments in the U.S. transportation system. The bill now awaits action on the House floor.
