Rep. Courtney Issues Statement on Navy Decision to Uphold Firing of Capt. Crozier

NORWICH, Connecticut, June 20 -- Rep. Joe Courtney, D-Connecticut, issued the following statement after the U.S. Navy announced its decision to uphold the firing of Capt. Brett Crozier as Commanding Officer of the U.S.S. Theodore Roosevelt:

"After reviewing the Navy's investigative report, I am still not convinced the firing of Captain Brett Crozier was warranted,".

"Last March, at the outset of the COVID-19 outbreak, Captain Crozier was put in an unknow . . .
