WASHINGTON, June 20 -- Rep. Andy Kim, D-New Jersey, issued the following news release:
Congressman Andy Kim (NJ-03) was joined by local leaders in the Black community throughout Burlington and Ocean Counties in a video highlighting the importance of Juneteenth, and New Jersey's history in the fight to end slavery. Congressman Kim also announced that he has signed on as a co-sponsor of the Juneteenth National Independence Day Act, which would formally make Juneteenth a national holid . . .
