RALEIGH, North Carolina, June 19 -- Gov. Roy Cooper, D-North Carolina, issued the following news release:
The North Carolina Rural Infrastructure Authority (RIA) has approved three grant requests to local governments totaling $2,825,000, Governor Roy Cooper announced. The requests include commitments to create a total of 264 jobs, 250 of which were previously announced. The public investment in these projects will attract more than $114 million in private investment.
