WASHINGTON, June 19 -- The House Natural Resources subcommittee on National Parks, Forests, and Public Lands issued the following testimony by Robert K. Masuda, first deputy director of the Hawaii Department of Land and Natural Resources, for a remote hearing in support of of a bill to authorize the Secretary of Agriculture to conduct a study of lands that could be included in a new National Forest in Hawaii (H.R. 7045) on June 18:
