WASHINGTON, June 19 -- Rep. Marc Veasey, D-Texas, issued the following statement after the House Judiciary Committee's passage of the Justice in Policing Act-police brutality reform legislation that goes much farther to transform the culture of police brutality than the recent Republican proposals:
