DETROIT, Michigan, June 18 -- The Detroit Regional Chamber issued the following statement:
"The U.S. Supreme Court made a landmark decision that will provide millions of LGBTQ people new civil rights protections in the workplace.
"The High Court's decision is consistent with the Chamber's support for expanding the Elliott-Larsen Civil Rights Act in Michigan to include sexual orientation and gender identity protections for the LGBTQ community.
