WASHINGTON, June 18 -- Sen. Todd Young, R-Indiana, issued the following news release:
The Senate passed a resolution introduced by U.S. Senators Todd Young (R-Ind.) and Mark Warner (D-Va.) honoring the 75th Anniversary of the Battle for Iwo Jima during World War II. The resolution recognizes the gallantry and heroism demonstrated 75 years ago during the victory that was led by the United States Marine Corps over Imperial Japan on the island of Iwo Jima.
