WASHINGTON, June 17 -- The U.S. Conference of Mayors issued the following statement on June 16 by Bryan K. Barnett, president and mayor of Rochester Hills, Michigan, on the Supreme Court decision protecting LGBTQ Americans from being fired based on sexual orientation:
