Idaho NRCS State Conservationist Elke Submits Op-Ed on Protection of Pollinator Habitat to Boost Crop Production

BOISE, Idaho, June 17 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Natural Resources Conservation Service Idaho office issued the following op-ed by State Conservationist Curtis Elke and Thomas Dayley, state executive director of Farm Service Agency, on farmers, ranchers and private forest landowners using conservation to protect pollinator habitat to boost crop production:

"The next time you snack on an apricot, add huckleberries to your smoothie or eat pumpkin pie, thank a pollina . . .
