WASHINGTON, June 16 -- Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-New York, issued the following news release:
U.S. Minority Leader Charles E. Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand today announced $3,800,000 in federal funding for Chemung County's C-Tran System. This federal funding was allocated by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) through the CARES Act and will help ensure the C-Tran busing system can continue offering essential public transportation during the COVID-19 outbreak.
