ACLU: Supreme Court Rules It is Against the Law to Fire LGBTQ People

NEW YORK, June 16 -- The American Civil Liberties Union, a 501(c)3 non-profit that works to defend and preserve the individual rights and liberties guaranteed by the Constitution and laws of the U.S., issued the following news release:

The U.S. Supreme Court today ruled in a trio of cases that it is against the law to fire people for being LGBTQ. The ACLU was counsel in the cases of Aimee Stephens and Don Zarda and argued Ms. Stephens' case.
