AMSTERDAM, New York, June 16 -- Rep. Paul D. Tonko, D-New York, issued the following news release:
Congressman Paul D. Tonko announced that SUNY Polytechnic Institute has won a competitive $50,000 research grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The award, spearheaded by Dr. Gregory Denbeaux, will fund research on metal additive manufacturing to engineer a more energy-efficient, waste reducing process for developing biomedical and aerospace devices.
