WASHINGTON, June 16 -- Rep. Eliot Engel, D-New York, issued the following statement:
Congressman Eliot L. Engel, a member of the House LGBT Equality Caucus, issued the following statement on the Supreme Court's decision in the Bostock vs. Clayton County case. The Bostock case now affirms the definition of "sex" under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act to prohibit an individual from being fired from their job because of their sexual orientation or gender identity:
