TOPEKA, Kansas, June 15 -- The Kansas Association of School Boards issued the following news:
KASB President Shannon Kimball has been appointed to the board of directors of the National School Boards Action Center, which advocates at the federal level to advance public education.
Kimball, an attorney, has served on the Lawrence USD 497 board since 2011, in addition serving on numerous community committees.
