Sens. Schumer, Gillibrand Announce $1.6M in Rural Development Federal Funding for Gouverneur to Improve Water Distribution System

WASHINGTON, June 13 -- Sen. Charles E. Schumer, D-New York, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Charles E. Schumer and U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand announced federal funding totaling $1,674,000 allocated by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) Rural Development as part of the Water and Waste Disposal Loans and Grants program. The funding will be used to replace the entire water distribution main along Route 11 in both the Eastside and Westside water districts.
