WASHINGTON, June 12 -- The National Transportation Safety Board issued the following news release:
The National Transportation Safety Board is scheduled to hold a board meeting July 14, 2020, 9:30 a.m. (EDT), to determine the probable cause of the Feb. 23, 2019, Atlas Air flight 3591 crash into Trinity Bay, Texas.
The accident happened when the Atlas Air Boeing 767 cargo jet entered a rapid descent from about 6,000 feet and impacted a marshy bay about 40 miles from Hous . . .
