WASHINGTON, June 12 -- Rep. Zoe Lofgren, D-California, issued the following joint statement with Rep. Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, condemning the Trump administration's proposed regulation that will dramatically rewrite nation's asylum laws:
"The Trump Administration's renewed efforts to dismantle our nation's asylum system are abhorrent, un-American, and illegal.
