WASHINGTON, June 12 -- Reps. Frank Pallone Jr., D-New Jersey, chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, and Richard E. Neal, D-Massachusetts, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, issued the following joint statement on the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services' guidance prohibiting seizure of nursing home residents' economic impact payments:
