NEW YORK, June 11 -- The Council on American-Islamic Relations issued the following news release:
The New York chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR-NY), a chapter of the nation's largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, condemned a hate-crime victimizing a Hispanic woman on New York's Interstate 84. The incident occurred at 5:30 a.m. in Brewster, near exit 65. The victim thankfully sustained no injuries.
