NEW YORK, June 10 -- The Drug Policy Alliance issued the following statement by Maritza Perez, director of the office of National affairs, in response to the introduction of the Justice in Policing Act by Congressional Black Caucus Chair Karen Bass, D-California, Sens. Cory Booker, D-New Jersey and Kamala Harris, D-California and House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerrold Nadler, D-New York, a bill calling for law enforcement reform:
