WASHINGTON, June 9 -- Rep. Brenda Lawrence, D-Michigan, issued the following statement as the Congressional Black Caucus and the House Judiciary Committee introduce the Justice in Policing Act, a comprehensive plan to address the systemic racism and bias in policing towards the Black community:
