MCALLEN, Texas, June 9 -- Rep. Vicente Gonzalez, D-Texas, issued the following news release:
Congressman Vicente Gonzalez (TX-15) announced a U.S. Department of Health and Human Service federal grant of $95,455 for the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV) Area Health Education Centers Program to combat COVID-19.
This grant will help UTRGV expand its capacity to provide services for those affected by COVID-19 and additional health care for rural communities.
