GRAND RAPIDS, Michigan, June 4 -- The U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Michigan, Andrew Byerly Birge, issued the following news release on June 3:
U.S. Attorney Andrew Birge announced today that Brian John Scalabrino, 47, formerly of East Grand Rapids, Michigan, was sentenced to 36 months in federal prison for committing wire and tax fraud. He was also ordered to serve three years of supervised release, pay $348,365 in restitution to Metal Standard, and pay $112,363 in rest . . .
