WASHINGTON, June 4 -- Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia, issued the following joint statement condemning the death of George Floyd and calling for an end to systematic racism in U.S.:
The statement was co-authored by Reps. Brenda Lawrence, D-Michigan, Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Florida, Lee Zeldin, R-New York and Will Hurd, R-Texas.
"The Congressional Caucus on Black-Jewish Relations unequivocally condemns all forms of racism and violence towards the Black community.
