WASHINGTON, June 4 -- Rep. Ann Kirkpatrick, D-Arizona, issued the following news release:
Rep. Kirkpatrick releases the following statement regarding harmful evictions of people impacted by the pandemic. In March, Governor Ducey issued an Executive Order halting evictions for renters facing adversities due to COVID-19. It is set to expire in July.
The Executive Order imposed by Governor Ducey may have halted some evictions, but it did not stop county judges from conduc . . .
