WASHINGTON, June 3 -- Rep. Carolyn Maloney, D-New York, chairwoman of the House Oversight and Reform Committee, issued the following news release on June 2:

Today, Rep. James E. Clyburn, the Chairman of the Select Subcommittee on the Coronavirus Crisis, and Rep. Carolyn B. Maloney, the Chairwoman of the Committee on Oversight and Reform, sent a letter to Health and Human Services Secretary Alex M. Azar requesting the agency's coronavirus research contracts with the private sector.
