WASHINGTON, June 3 -- Sen. Kevin Cramer, R-North Dakota, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer (R-ND) announced the Department of Justice (DOJ) awarded a combined $830,446 to hire additional police officers at 4 police and sheriff's departments in North Dakota. These funds are awarded through the DOJ Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS) Hiring Program. The following departments received funds:
* Lincoln Police Department - $250,000
