INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, June 2 -- The Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing issued the following statement:

Since 1922, the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing (Sigma) has embodied the attributes of our founders: love, courage, and honor.
