Sen. Barrasso Applauds Trump Administration Sec. 401 Rule

WASHINGTON, June 2 -- Sen. John Barrasso, R-Wyoming, chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, issued the following statement on June 1 on the Trump administration's final regulations regarding Sec. 401 of the Clean Water Act:

"I applaud the Trump administration's commitment to improve implementation of the Clean Water Act. This rule will help ensure certain states can no longer abuse the water certification process for political purposes.
