NEW YORK, May 30 -- Vital Strategies issued the following statement on May 29 by President and CEO Jose Luis Castro on President Trump announcing U.S. withdrawal from the World Health Organization:
"This global emergency is far from over. The U.S. alone has lost 100,000 lives from this pandemic, a burden that is immeasurable to our health and our economy. Any decision to terminate the U.S. relationship with the WHO will only stall the global collaboration and cooperation needed . . .
