WASHINGTON, May 30 -- Rep. Don Young, R-Alaska, issued the following news release:

Alaska Congressman Don Young cosponsored the Stopping the Mental Health Pandemic Act. This legislation directs the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to award funding to states, municipalities, tribes and tribal organizations, community health centers, and other health care providers to address behavior and mental health needs caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
