WASHINGTON, May 30 -- Rep. Nita Lowey, D-New York, issued the following statement after President Trump announced he is ending the U.S. involvement with the World Health Organization:
"The president's termination of the U.S. relationship with the WHO will put Americans further at risk from not only the coronavirus, but other infectious diseases and their resulting domestic and global economic impacts.
