WASHINGTON, May 29 -- Rep. Jackie Walorski, R-Indiana, issued the following statement on the death of retired Air Force Colonel and ex-Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Texas:
"Sam Johnson was a true American hero with a servant's heart. Throughout his remarkable life, he embodied the spirit of courage, patriotism, and sacrifice.
"I'm honored to have served in Congress and on the Ways and Means Committee alongside this true patriot, whose love of God and country was eviden . . .
