ROUND ROCK, Texas, May 28 -- Rep. John Carter, R-Texas, issued the following statement on the death of Sam Johnson:
"I'm very sad to learn of the passing of Sam Johnson, my dear friend. Sam and I went to several Christian retreats together, and he shared his faith with me over the years. Sam always led with courage and integrity.
