YPSILANTI TOWNSHIP, Michigan, May 28 -- Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Michigan, issued the following statement after a Washtenaw County Sheriff's Deputy used excessive force against a woman in Ypsilanti Township:
"The Washtenaw community is hurting. The incident that occurred this week causes all of us to search our conscience. Brutality by anyone is never ok and whenever we witness violence captured on video it is deeply disturbing.
