WASHINGTON, May 28 -- Rep. Richard E. Neal, D-Massachusetts, chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, issued the following statement on the death of ex-Rep. Sam Johnson, R-Texas, who previously chaired the House Ways and Means Subcommittee on Social Security:
