WASHINGTON, May 23 -- Rep. Larry Bucshon, R-Indiana, issued the following news release:
The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is announced it has begun distributing $4.9 billion in additional relief funds to skilled nursing facilities (SNFs) to help them combat the devastating effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Sadly, nursing homes are among the most vulnerable places for COVID-19 to wreak havoc. It is imperative that we provide the proper resource . . .
