ALBANY, New York, May 23 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - New York Field Office issued the following news release:
Maryland egg production totaled 65.1 million during April 2020, up 2 percent from last year. Production included 63.6 million table eggs, and 1.5 million hatching eggs. The total number of layers during April 2020 averaged 2.66 million, up 2 percent from last year. April egg production per 100 layers was 2,448 eggs, up 1 . . .
