WASHINGTON, May 23 -- Rep. Debbie Dingell, D-Michigan, issued the following statement on May 22 after the Auto Innovators announced their intervention in federal litigation regarding fuel economy standards:
"I was disappointed by the announcement today. I have argued it's in the long-term interest for the administration, California and the auto industry to be on the same page.
