WASHINGTON, May 23 -- Rep. Raul M. Grijalva, D-Arizona, chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, issued the following statement calling on the Education and Interior departments to release the education funding for the Bureau of Indian Education that was included in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (H.R. 748):
"Every day, children and families in Indian Country are suffering at the hands of the Trump administration's botched coronavirus response. . . .
