ALBANY, New York, May 21 -- The U.S. Department of Agriculture's National Agricultural Statistics Service - New York Field Office issued the following news release:
Milk production in New York during April 2020 totaled 1.29 billion pounds, up 1.5 percent from April 2019. The average milk price received by New York farmers in March 2020, at $18.50 per hundredweight, is down $0.60 from February 2020 but up $0.20 from March a year ago.
