WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Sen. John Hoeven, R-North Dakota, issued the following news release:
Senator John Hoeven, chairman of the Senate Agriculture Appropriations Committee, announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture's (USDA) National Institute of Food and Agriculture has awarded $498,615 to North Dakota State University (NDSU). Today's funding will be used to support research regarding pasteurization and reduction of foodborne bacteria within wheat prior to the milling proces . . .
