WASHINGTON, May 21 -- Sen. Christopher Murphy, D-Connecticut, issued the following statement on reports that State Department Inspector General Steve Linick had completed his investigation into the use of emergency authorities to force through an $8 billion arms sale to Saudi Arabia and other Gulf countries before he was fired:
